Troubleshooting and contact information. The app is currently in preparation. The instructions below describe basic use after distribution begins.

Get started with your family

  1. Each family member signs in on their own iPhone using their own Apple or Google account.
  2. The first person creates a family and sets their name, phone number, and role.
  3. In “Family & Settings,” choose the invitee’s role, create an invitation code, and share it with that person. Each code is for one person and valid for 24 hours.
  4. The invitee signs in to their own account and joins using the code. Allow notifications and check the registered phone number.

The person requesting a check taps the large button, chooses family members, and sends. Family opens the notification or request list and chooses to call the registered number. Confirm the call using the iPhone’s phone function.

Notifications or calls are not working

A notification, read status, or completion status does not establish whether a money request is genuine. If no one responds, do not rush to pay; contact your family directly by your usual phone or other method.

Start from your home screen

After installing and opening the app once, add the Kakunin Bell widget from home-screen editing. Supported iPhones can also add it through lock-screen customization. Steps vary by operating-system version and widget type.

The widget opens the app. Choose the family members to notify and confirm sending. Tapping the widget alone does not automatically send to everyone.

Personal data and account deletion

For access, correction, suspension, deletion, or cessation of provision, contact the address below with the subject “Kakunin Bell: Personal data request.” In the iPhone app, open “Family & Settings” → “Service & Account” → “Delete account,” then verify with Apple or Google. Deletion is also available during initial setup, before family registration. If you cannot use the app, request deletion through the same contact.

Never send passwords or sign-in verification codes. Requests by representatives require proof of authority. After verification, requests are handled under applicable law; reasons are given when information cannot be deleted or another request cannot be met. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete saved data.

If you suspect a scam

Kakunin Bell support is not a police or financial-institution contact. In Japan, call 110 for emergencies or #9110 for non-emergency police consultation. If you have already sent money, also contact the financial institution directly.
