Kakunin Bell home

Terms of Service

These terms govern the Kakunin Bell website provided by Matorisuka (Yoshinobu Takahashi) and the app after distribution begins. The app is currently in preparation.

1. The service’s role

Kakunin Bell helps users request a check from registered family members and contact them by phone when asked to transfer money or similar. It does not provide money transfers, financial transactions, identity investigations, automatic scam detection, compensation, or emergency reporting to police or ambulance services.

2. Accounts and family registration

The app requires a supported Apple or Google account and family setup. Each user must use their own account, enter accurate information, and provide a phone number where they can be reached. Share invitations only with the intended person, with their understanding and consent to registration and family sharing. Do not publish codes or register people without permission.

Minors must obtain consent from a legal representative. Protect devices and accounts from third-party use and contact support if you suspect abuse.

3. Notifications, calls, and checks

Sending, storing, or displaying a notification does not guarantee delivery, reading, or a successful call. Connectivity, devices, permissions, or external services may cause delays or failures.

Statuses such as “check completed” record family actions and do not prove that a money request is legitimate. Speak directly to your family member at a previously verified number. If no one responds, do not rush to pay; use another way to contact them.

Calls are handed off to the iPhone’s phone function. Data and call charges follow your plan. For emergencies, contact the appropriate service directly without using Kakunin Bell.

4. Pricing and advertising

The app is planned to be free. Users pay device, data, and call charges. Ads may appear in settings. Viewing ads is not required for family checks, notifications, calls, or widgets. Any future paid functions will have their scope, prices, and conditions explained in advance and require a separate application.

5. Prohibited conduct

The operator may suspend use or take other necessary measures according to the nature and impact of violations.

6. Input and personal information

Rights to input remain with users or original rights holders. The operator handles it as needed to deliver, maintain, and support the service. Family sharing, external transmission, and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy and External services and advertising.

7. Interruption, changes, and closure

All or part of the service may be interrupted for maintenance, defects, abuse, disasters, or external-service outages. Major changes or closure will be announced in advance where possible. Continuous availability and identical behavior on every device are not guaranteed.

8. Liability and statutory rights

Liability follows Japan’s Civil Code, Consumer Contract Act, and other applicable law. These terms do not universally exclude legal liability, including for intent or gross negligence, or restrict statutory user rights.

9. Changes to terms and governing law

Changes follow law, with content and effective dates announced on the site or elsewhere. Further consent is obtained where needed. Japanese law applies, and jurisdiction for unresolved disputes follows applicable law.
